01 A Place to Rest for My Head: Football

“Imagine something so elegant, so beautiful and stunning that every time you are at it, you are overwhelmed no matter how many times you have felt it before. A sudden rush of blood through your brain makes you realize how good your life is.  It is so natural to you that you get lost in its aura. You forget everything else. You become one with it. Everything else is so far away. So trivial. And once you are there, you never want to come out of it. You don’t want to end it....
That, my friend, is what I call football.”

Hello Folks!! My first real post. And what better way to begin it all with, than heaven itself. Oops, I meant FOOTBALL.

How it all began:
Aah, football.. My first love for sure. I still remember my first real encounter with football. It was the FIFA World Cup 2006. That tournament took me with it. From that day, till this day, there has not been a single day I haven't worshiped the game.

Every day:
When I am wearing those studs of mine, the feeling, the anticipation, of getting onto the field; of the first touch on the football; of all the plays I could make, everything just overwhelms the life out of me. The joy of knowing that yes, today I will play again! Just cannot get tired of it.
The world is a much better place to live. You tend to forget everything. You are lost, in happiness.

The touch, The pass (best feeling of my life):
A touch on the football and everything starts racing. Hundreds of ideas flow past me as I contemplate my next move. A run, a call for the ball. Trigger. A second later, the ball is in mid-air, flying towards its intended aim. That instant tells you everything you want to know. It just tells you.

And then the wait. ''Can he get there? Will he...''
GOALLLL!!!!

Bliss.
Utter bliss.
When you know that you created that goal. That is the point of true happiness.

The End:
And when you are done, you sit down to finally give your body that rest it craves for. That is when, the whole of your body aching with the happiness, you are, truly satisfied.

A Last Goodbye

A feeling for all the lovely people around me today For all my friends, family and those who may For everyone who has touched my heart, my head Remember this little thing I once said.   I remember the times we spent together I know we enjoyed them, no ifs no whethers But I don't remember when we said those words A last goodbye I never heard. I remember the times we fought each other I remember the times we were like brothers But if you gave it to me, I would have never forgot A last goodbye I never got. I remember the times we were just silent The silence in itself, a revealing asylum But even the silence did not make me ready for it A last goodbye we never did. I remember the times we said 'forever yo' I remember how we said we would never grow No one can understand the paths we paved But a last goodbye I always craved. I remember the times you were there for me I remember the things I did for thee A credit account with an overdose With a last goodbye never clo...

06 When I started pouring out my mind

S itting at my desk, wondering why I had not written for such a long time, I decided to just pour out my mind for once . And then, there were six ..       Pouring out my mind? I had heard about pouring out hearts.. What is 'pouring minds'? Pouring is 'flowing in a steady way'. Steady!!? hah! My mind and steady, now that's a good one there. Nobel prize for whoever can pull that off! And for that matter, how can one then pour out one's heart? Can you? Pour it. I would like to see.      What are emotions? You think you know? Simple?... Le wiki mama describes emotions as, (and this is only their first line) ''In psychology and philosophy, emotion is a subjective, conscious experience characterized primarily by psycho-physiological expressions, biological reactions, and mental states .'' So much for being 'simple'!! And that is how we describe the things closest to us, emotions.     Man has m...
